National Space Centre at Leicester held an "Exterminate!" today where people who'd built their own Daleks turned up and toodled them round the exhibition hall, whilst some minor guest stars from Doctor Who signed (paid) autographs; a TARDIS sat on a plinth with a couple of actors(?) dressed as The Doctor and Amy.

There were only about five Daleks there, but they were very impressive. Alex was terrified though. Even when we let him control (via R/C) the head of one under construction and showed people getting in and out behind the scenes, he just couldn't grasp that they wouldn't hurt him. Kathryn was wary, and didn't like it when one responded "HE-LLO" when she said, "ello Dah-ick".

Still, it was a cool day out; we've got annual passes now and there's a Lego "Brickish" event next month, followed by "Movie Mania" in November.
