As Andrew knows I am currently writing a VB front end for the XML data.  So
that people can view it offline.

The ability to have the files in a zip (or similar) would be fantastic,
saving me a bit of processing time but more importantly saving on bandwidth.
I say it's a great idea.

Good idea. It might be worth only providing data/listings/0.{tar.bz2,zip},
1.{tar.bz2,zip}, ... rather than the directories (if the directories are
still available noone will download the tarballs or zips!).

How would people find this change?
